These versions of the D.Suite/eIDAS qualified electronic signature (KEP) applications are intended only for special use cases, such as signing large PDF files (several hundred MB). For regular use of qualified electronic signature applications on the MS Windows operating system (both 32-bit and 64-bit), we recommend installing the 32-bit versions of the KEP applications available in the MS Windows operating system section.
To run and use individual applications for qualified electronic signature in web browsers, it is necessary to install the D.Launcher v2 application. A newer version of the D.Launcher application, v2.x, together with the new version of the D.Bridge JS libraries v1.5 and the corresponding D.Bridge 2 web browser extension, also enables automatic installation and updates of KEP components on the Java platform, the required Java Runtime Environment (JRE), as well as its own automatic updates. At the same time, it addresses several technological issues present in the older D.Launcher v1 version by using more modern technologies.
We would like to inform you that support for the D.Launcher v1 application has been discontinued by the application provider, and therefore this application has been removed from the .NET component package for QES D.Suite/eIDAS. Installers of the D.Launcher v1 application for supported operating systems will be provided by the D.Launcher v1 provider only to administrators of the relevant specialized portals that have not yet implemented integration of client QES components via the D.Launcher v2 application and the D.Bridge 2 extension. These installers will be provided only upon request and exclusively to support their users during a transitional period until December 31, 2025.
An essential requirement for successful signing via the D.launcher v2.x application is the installation and enabling of the D.Bridge 2 extension in the web browser:
For help with installing the extension, follow the D.Launcher v2.x User Guide, Chapter 3.3.
platform .NET
For work in web browsers that do not support ActiveX or NPAPI technologies, such as MS Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome, it is necessary to install the D.Launcher v1.x application as well as the new D.Launcher v2.x version, both of which are part of the D.Suite/eIDAS client application package for qualified electronic signature (KEP).

platform JAVA
If the relevant public authority portal has implemented integration on its website for launching KEP components using the D.Launcher v2 application, then the Java components for KEP are automatically downloaded to the PC. The D.Launcher v2 application ensures not only the automatic installation and updates of KEP components on the Java platform and the required Java Runtime Environment (JRE), but also its own automatic updates. At the same time, it addresses several technological issues present in the older D.Launcher v1 version by using more modern technologies.
