The service “Application for Recognition of Professional Qualification” allows a citizen of another Member State of the European Union to apply to the National Labour Inspectorate for the recognition of a professional qualification acquired in another Member State of the European Union, for the purpose of performing an activity for which a specific legal regulation requires professional qualification. To submit the application, the applicant must use an electronic identification card with a chip (eID) and must electronically sign the application. In case of electronic submission all attachments must be submitted in electronic form and signed with a qualified electronic signature. If a certified signature is required for paper submission, a qualified electronic signature with a time stamp is its electronic equivalent. Attachments originally in paper form must be officially converted into electronic form through authorised persons (e.g. notary public, post office).
