How to solve failed signing process (macOS)

Check the installed app to sign (D.Launcher):
- Click the icon “Finder” (Fig. 2) located in the bottom bar;

- in the left column, click on “Apps” and check whether the D.Launcher app is in the list of apps (Fig. 3).

If yes:
Run the D.Launcher app and check that it appears in the top bar. Continue to check if you have Java installed (text below).
If not:
You don't have the sign app installed at all. Download the sign app and then start installation and pull the icon into the app.
Check if the Java app is installed:
- In the bottom bar of the descop press the "System Preferences" icon (Fig. 4);

- in the "System Preferences"(Fig. 5) section chceck if the Java app is installed (Fig. 6).

If yes:
If both Java and D.Launcher apps are installed and the signing problem persists, the reason can be the block of the ESET Cyber Security app (pause the protection and sigh the electronic document again). Uninstall the Java app and install again.
If not:
For signing the document by D.Launcher app, the Java app installation is required too. Download the Java and start the installation.
2.2 The “D.Launcher” application cannot be opened because Apple cannot check for malicious software

Solution:
- In the bottom bar on the desktop, click on the “System Settings” icon (Fig. 8);

- click on the “Security and privacy” icon (Fig. 9);

- click the “General” tab and enable D.Launcher to start by pressing "Open anyway" at the bottom (Fig. 10).

2.3 The application “D.Signer/XAdES Java” freezes in the process of signing

Solution:
- In the bottom bar on the desktop, click on the “System Settings” icon (Fig. 12);

- click on the “General” icon;

- select “Never” in the section when opening documents, click on the “Launchpad” icon (Fig. 14).

- Locate and run the “Terminal” application, insert the following text in quotes: “defaults write net.java.openjdk.cmd AppleWindowTabbingMode manual” and press “enter”;
- reinsert the following text in quotation marks: “killall java” and again press “enter”.
Once all steps have been done, re-sign the submission.
