Research in Slovakia

Education and sport

Information on this website is intended to help foreigners in Slovakia get an overview of possibilities to seek grants and vacancies, as well as obtain information on formalities relating to residence in Slovakia (residence permit and visa, taxation, health and social care).

In connection with career development as a researcher and the need to collect, exchange and share knowledge and experience abroad and achieve international recognition for one’s research work, the internationalisation of research and residence of researchers in different EU countries are becoming increasingly common. Researches use various forms of support for their researcher mobility: grants, fellowships, agreements, mobility exercised through participation in international projects, etc.
