General information
eIDAS are the European Union rules for electronic identification, authentication, trust services, electronic signatures, electronic seals, electronic time stamps, electronic documents, electronic delivery services for registered shipments, certification services for website authentication, prescribed by Regulation (EU) No 910/2014.

Means of electronic identification from EU countries are accepted gradually, in accordance with the notification process in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC (hereinafter referred to as the "eIDAS Regulation"):
- from 28th September 2018:
Germany - holders of a German identity card or residence card (level of assurance "high"),
- from 10th September 2019:
Italy - using only the Italian "SPID" system, which does not include the Italian eID(level of assurance "substantial", "high"),
- from 7th November 2019:
Estonia - eID, residence card, mobile ID, diplomatic card, digital card (level of assurance "high"),
Croatia - eID (level of assurance "high"),
Luxembourg - eID (level of assurance "high"),
Spain - eID (level of assurance "high"),
- from 27th December 2019:
Belgium - eID and residence card (level of assurance "high"),
- from 28th February 2020:
Portugal - eID (level of assurance "high"),
- from 2nd May 2020:
United Kingdom -GOV.UK Verify (level of assurance "substantial") implementation was canceled in January 2021 due to Brexit and termination of technical connection by the United Kingdom,
- from 13th September 2020:
Czech Republic - eID (level of assurance "high"),
Italy - eID (level of assurance "high"),
The Netherlands - eHerkenning (level of assurance “substantial”, “high”) means for both natural and legal persons (currently only accepted for natural persons in Slovakia) - deployed on 13 October 2021 - the implementation was postponed by the Netherlands from the original deadline of 13 September 2020,
- from 18th December 2020:
Slovak Republic - eID, proof of residence of an alien (level of assurance "high"),
Latvia - eID, eParaksts karte / karte +, eParaksts (mobile identity), (level of assurance "substantial", "high"),
Belgium - itsme® mobile application (level of assurance "high").
- from 8th April 2021:
Denmark- NemID resources: NemID Key card, mobile app, token, NemID on hardware, IVR - Interactive Voice / Response, Magna card - key card (level of assurance "substantial") - deployed on October 15, 2021 - implementation was postponed by Denmark from the original deadline
Portugal- mobile eID (level of assurance "high"),
- from 21st April 2021:
Lithuania - eID (level of assurance "high"),
The Netherlands - DigiID (level of assurance "substantial", "high"). Implementation was postponed by Netherlands.

Germany - eID card for the citizens of a Member State of the European Union or a Contracting Party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area for the use of electronic services. (level of assurance "high")
- from 10th December 2022:
France - mobile application L’Identité numérique La Poste (level of assurance "substantial"),
Malta - eID card, residence card (level of assurance "high").
- from 18th February 2023:
Sweden - mobile application Freja eID Plus (level of assurance "substantial").
- from 27th April 2023:
Austria - eID (level of assurance "high"),
- from 24th october 2023:
Norway - Bank ID, Buypass ID (level of assurance "high")
Denmark - MitID Mobile App MitID App, enhanced security MitID chip, MitID code display MitID Audio code reader, MitID Password (level of assurance "substantial" and "high")

Holders of a foreign identification tool
You can log in via eIDAS Node on the www.slovensko.sk. This login is for persons who are holders of an identification tool issued in one of the EU member statescountries. Holders of Slovak eID
Holders of Slovak identity cards with a chip (eID) or Slovak residence card with electronic chip can already use electronic public sector services on portals in the Czech Republic, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy, on the European Commission's portal and in support of European citizens' initiatives. Until 18 December 2020, all EU Member States are obliged to make their electronic services available to citizens of the Slovak Republic and to foreigners residing in the Slovak Republic.
